Gehraiyaan’s OTT release on 25th January 2022

Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday sent their social media followers and fans into a frenzy of happiness and curiosity when they posted pictures from the sets of Gehraiyaan on 19^th December. The captions hinted towards an announcement on the next day, 20^th December, and the fans couldn’t contain their excitement. ‘Gehraiyaan’, directed by Shakun Batra, is a modern-day family drama set to release on the 25^th of January, 2022, on Amazon Prime. The teaser for Shakun Batra highly anticipated OTT drama Gehraiyaan dropped on 20^th December, a day after the lead cast posted behind the scenes shots from set on their social media. The actors of the family drama posted pictures from their shoot while posing with each other or working alongside each other. They then posted the teaser on their social media handles on 20^th December. 

The teaser hints at a cumulation of emotions – love, heartbreak, sorrow, perplexity, and tranquillity – with the soothing theme song playing in the background. Going by the teaser, the pairs Deepika Padukone-Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday-Dhairya Karwa discover the depths of themselves, their relationships, and much more that can only be decoded only after watching the movie. 

Padukone’s caption along with the teaser read “A piece of my heart… ❤,” while Siddhant Chaturvedi wrote “They say you leave pieces of yourself in everything you love. Maybe you’ll find my heart here. #GehraiyaanOnPrime, world premiere, Jan 25th.” Ananya captioned her post saying “It’s time to dive in a little deeper. #GehraiyaanOnPrime, world premiere, January 25th, 2022…”
