Lights, camera, consistencyvyour favourite celebs aren’t just sculpted for the screen; they’re committed to everyday wellness. Sinduri Vuppala dives into the fitness stories that are shaping their lives.

Who: Divyansha Kaushik

An Indian actress known for her work in Telugu and Hindi cinema, Divyansha first gained attention with her praised debut in Majili (2019) and Has Since appeared in films such as The Wife, Ramarao on Duty, Michael, and Takkar, steadily building her presence in the industry. With a growing lineup of diverse roles, she continues to emerge as one of the most promising talents in South Indian cinema. Known for her disciplined lifestyle, she often shares insights into her fitness routine and wellness philosophy.

1. Staying Consistent With Fitness

I’ve had phases when I was highly dedicated to fitness and phases when I didn’t work out for over 6 months. Recently, I realised my mental health, consistency, and discipline all improve when I move my body. Even five push-ups are better than doing nothing. It doesn’t have to be about reps just movement. I do Pilates, gymnastics, kickboxing, boxing, and MMA, including Muay Thai and jiu-jitsu. I also make sure to get in 30 minutes of cardio and core work. This has been my routine lately.

2. Your Top Five Fitness Rules

These are what work for me:

  1. Hydration: essential. Water helps your body function and flush out anything that doesn’t suit you.
  2. Waking up early: I’m an early riser and love morning workouts; by noon, I feel accomplished and energised.
  3. Matcha over coffee: coffee overstimulates me, but matcha gives me steady energy.
  4. Two kiwis every morning: my dose of vitamin C.
  5. Pescatarian, balanced meals: one fish meal a day, lots of salad and fibre, and a hearty breakfast with eggs, carbs, and sourdough.

3. “You Are What You Eat” — Your Diet Philosophy

I’ve learned this through experience: I feel the difference when I eat clean, balanced meals. I’m more energetic and motivated. Of course, Delhi food is irresistible parathas, butter chicken and cheat days are needed for mental happiness. But even for comfort food, I prefer homemade over restaurant food. I’ve become more conscious of what I eat and try to keep it clean and nourishing.

4. Fitness Challenges & Overcoming Them

My biggest challenge is inertia. When I’m regular, I enjoy working out and push myself hard but if I get lazy, I completely stop. So I make sure to move my body in some way every day. It doesn’t have to be a six-day routine or a 10K run. Even a slight movement keeps me disciplined.

5. Diet & Foods You Swear By

I’m very easygoing with my diet. I love ghar ka khana and enjoy going out with friends occasionally. I never restrict myself  if I crave something, I’d rather eat it and work out better the next day instead of feeling guilty for a week. For me, it’s not a “diet” anymore it’s a lifestyle. I don’t aim for a specific weight; I strive to be strong. I want endurance, strength, the ability to do a cartwheel or backflip, and to stay injury-free. That’s my goal now.

6. What Inspires Your Fitness Journey?

My biggest motivation is imagining myself 10–15 years from now — still strong, fit, and able to use my body to its fullest. Anyone who stays disciplined inspires me. It could be my driver going for a walk after a long workday or my mom completing her 10K steps. Consistency in any form motivates me.

7. Does Public Pressure Affect You?

Yes, it does. I had a rough year because I wasn’t taking care of myself and became lazy and my profession doesn’t allow that. My mental health doesn’t allow that either. I don’t feel good when I’m not taking care of myself.

This year taught me how much natural dopamine we get from workouts, sunlight, or even eating a good fruit. I’m now focused on being my best version not the version with abs, but the version that feels strong and healthy.

8. Protecting Your Mental Well-Being

I mix up my workouts, so I never feel stagnant. Earlier, I stuck to strict routines, but I realised I get bored easily. Now I do everything Pilates for posture and flexibility, kickboxing/boxing for strength, HIIT for cardio, gymnastics for fun, and yoga for balance.

The variety keeps me mentally fresh and physically challenged.

9. The Fittest Stars in Bollywood?

Tiger Shroff, definitely. And Hrithik Roshan considering his back injuries and age, the way he has rebuilt his fitness is incredible. Samantha is also excellent; she takes her fitness and health very seriously. Honestly, anyone who prioritises their health inspires me.

10. Fitness Resolution for 2026

I want to learn how to swim correctly. I can do laps, but I’m scared of the ocean. I want to improve my swimming and make it a regular part of my fitness routine in 2026.

Priyamvada Kant on Fitness, Food and Finding Her Balance

From television and films to reality shows and digital entertainment, Priyamvada Kant has consistently embraced versatility. With memorable roles in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Tenali Rama, a win on MTV Splitsvilla 12, and her recent outing in Gharwali Pedwali, Kant has never shied away from exploring new facets of her craft. A trained classical dancer, movement has always been an integral part of her life. For Kant, however, fitness isn’t about chasing a particular look or number on the weighing scale. It’s about feeling strong, energetic and mentally balanced. Staying Fit While TravellingI don’t believe fitness has to stop because I’m travelling or have a hectic schedule. I keep it simple with short home workouts, yoga, stretching or a long walk whenever I don’t have time for a full workout. Dancing has also kept movement naturally integrated into my life. I don’t follow extreme diets either. I believe in eating mindfully, watching portions and listening to what my body needs. Hydration and good sleep are equally important, especially when I’m travelling.Keeping Workouts InterestingI don’t enjoy doing the same workout every day. I switch between yoga, walking, dancing, home workouts and outdoor activities depending on my schedule and energy levels. Dance is my favourite because it never feels like a workout. Yoga helps me stay grounded and connected to my body. I believe the key is to keep experimenting. Even 20 minutes of movement can make a difference when you’re consistent. My Five Fitness Rules Consistency over intensity: I’d rather move a little every day than overdo it occasionally. Listen to your body: Rest is just as important as exercise. Stay hydrated: Water is essential for overall well-being. Eat mindfully: I don’t believe in depriving myself of food I enjoy. Prioritise mental wellness: Yoga, breathing, dancing and spending time

Off-screen, she believes in keeping her fitness routine practical, balanced and sustainable.Fitness on the GoI think consistency is more important than perfection. My schedule can be unpredictable, especially when I’m travelling for shoots, so I try to make fitness part of my routine rather than something I do only when I have time. I stay active wherever I am, make sensible food choices and keep myself hydrated. Even if I can’t follow my regular workout, I try to walk, stretch or do some form of movement. For me, fitness is about feeling energetic and healthy, not just looking a certain way. Keeping Workouts InterestingI like keeping my workouts varied because doing the same thing every day can become boring. I enjoy a combination of strength training, cardio, functional movements and stretching. Sometimes I also include dance or activities that keep me moving without making exercise feel like a chore. Music helps me stay motivated, and changing the intensity or type of exercise keeps things interesting. I also

From Law to Wellness: Sohrab Khushrushahi’s Journey to Building India’s Cleanest Nutrition Brand

In an exclusive interview with SINDURI VUPPALA, SOHFIT founder and celebrity fitness coach Sohrab Khushrushahi opens up about his evolution from law to fitness and now to clean-label performance nutrition with The Func Lab. Co-founded with Sahil Kukreja and Tashya Davar, The Func Lab is cutting through industry noise with science backed, transparent products built for real people. From coaching stars like Alia Bhatt and Mira Kapoor to formulating no-fluff supplements, Sohrab’s mission remains the same: help people feel stronger, move better, and live well. From law to fitness and now nutrition: what inspired this pivot to launching The Func Lab? Honestly, I’ve never seen it as a pivot. For me, it’s been an evolution. I started in law because it was the “safe” thing to do. But over time, I realized it didn’t light me up. Fitness came in as something that felt real and meaningful. When I started SOHFIT, it was never about six-packs it was about helping people move better, feel stronger, and live fuller lives. The Func Lab is just a continuation of that mission. I saw firsthand how many people were doing the training, showing up, but still not recovering well or getting results because their nutrition was broken. There was a lot of confusion and even more compromise in the supplement space. I knew we could do better. So, we built it. How did your experience building SOHFIT inform your approach to creating a product-based wellness brand? SOHFIT taught me that people don’t want to be complicated. They want guidance they can trust, routines that work, and things that actually make them feel good. That mindset shaped everything about The Func Lab. Instead of chasing trends, we asked: “What does the average person actually need to support a sustainable fitness lifestyle?” The answer was
