JULY EDITION
Today, we live in what I like to call organized chaos. Life feels like a treadmill on overdrive, constantly chasing the next deadline, experience, and validation. Whether its work, traffic, or even a fun party at home, we rush to do everything right. Adding to this is the pressure of chasing perfection— the perfectly curated social media life, the immaculate home, the perfect family, and the never-ending hustle. In this symphony of organized chaos, we drown out the most essential aspect: Ourselves. A recent long vacation to Europe showed me how time can stand still. People there are relaxed, always smile and take a few extra seconds to wish each other a good morning. In our country, we start our day stuck in traffic, cursing the car next to us, stressing over kids, worrying about the cook or the house help who arrived late. This experience made me realize we need to let go. It’s okay not to be perfect all the time, its okay not to be impeccably dressed, and it’s okay if the house is a mess. We don’t always need to belong. Let’s ditch the pressure to be perfect or to be everywhere and everything at once. It’s okay to not always “fit in.”
Our cover star, Kartik Aaryan, embodies this spirit. A self-proclaimed “lone wolf,” he gets candid about how he feels like a lone wolf and not an insider in the industry despite delivering so many hits. He reminds us that success doesn’t require blending in. Being yourself and embracing the lone wolf mentality can be a great idea because, no matter what you do, fate will play out how it was intended. Life is a journey, not a frantic race to the finish line. Let’s savour the moments along the way. So, let’s sit back, breathe, and relax. Life is too short to worry. Let’s embrace the beauty of imperfection and find peace in the chaos.
