ChatGPT has become a hot topic of discussion for the past few months, with over 100 million users within two months of its launch. It became the fastest-growing app in the world. The AI-based chatbot was developed by a company named OpenAI which is backed by Elon Musk, and has abilities like writing long codes, and text content like essays, emails etc., within a couple of seconds. Recently, OpenAI introduced an updated version of ChatGPT which is the GPT-4 and it brought about further improvements compared to the previous version. Now that the use of AI has increased rapidly, the threat of AI-based software and robots replacing humans from their jobs has also started becoming a concern. What is GPT-4 and how can it benefit our lives?

GPT-4 is the latest version of OpenAI’s ChatGPT and it has a lot of improvements like a better- responding interface, image input along with text just like Google lens and a more human-like natural conversational style. GPT-4 is also capable of handling and processing over 25,000 words of text which allows a lot more use cases like long-form content creation, extended conversations, document search and analysis and more. These are the kind of features which are very beneficial from an end-user perspective as they add a lot more convenience to our lives.

Is ChatGPT going to steal our jobs?

NASA Astronaut Sunita Williams and Crew Return to Earth After Extended ISS Stay

NASA astronaut Sunita Williams and her fellow crew member, Butch Wilmore, have safely returned to Earth after an unexpectedly prolonged stay aboard the International Space Station (ISS). The two astronauts, who originally launched aboard the Boeing Starliner for a planned eight-day mission, ended up spending over nine months in space due to technical issues with their spacecraft. Launch and Initial Mission Plans Williams and Wilmore lifted off aboard the Boeing CST-100 Starliner on June 5, 2024, from Cape Canaveral, Florida. This mission, called the Crew Flight Test (CFT), was meant to be a short-duration test of Boeing’s new spacecraft, which NASA had chosen as part of its Commercial Crew Program. The goal was to demonstrate that the Starliner could successfully transport astronauts to and from the ISS, providing an alternative to SpaceX’s Crew Dragon. Upon arriving at the ISS, Williams and Wilmore were welcomed by the station’s existing crew. Their responsibilities included running scientific experiments, testing the Starliner’s systems, and participating in routine station maintenance.
