Career:

In 1981, he began assisting his dad, Dhirubhai Ambani, in running their business venture, Reliance Industries Limited. By this point, it had grown to include modernising and petrochemical products. Goods and services in the sales and telecommunications sectors were added to the original company’s portfolio. A further conglomerate, Reliance Retail Ltd., is India’s number one retailer. Ever since the official launch, Reliance Jio has raised through the ranks of the nation’s telecom services.

He is indeed the country’s sole Indian entrepreneur on Forbes’ ranking among the most prominent individuals. Mukesh Ambani has been graded as the world’s sixth-wealthiest individual by Forbes.

He as well possesses the Indian Premier League dealership Mumbai Indians via Reliance and has been the founding member of the Indian Super League, a football game in India.

Forbes christened him several of the world’s wealthiest athletic shareholders in 2012.
